An Official 8th Grade Graduate

Chelsea's kindergarten picture. She is in the front row, third one in from the left.
Our beautiful graduate!

Chelsea receiving her diploma. Mrs. Batycki is on the left with Dr. Lopeman on the right.

Chelsea and her best friend Jordi wrote a poem together, which talked about their 9 years at Alhambra Traditional School. They were asked to recite it at the graduation.

I love these teachers! Left to right, Mrs. Batycki, Mrs. Smith, Mr. Smith, Chelsea and Ms. Spangler. Mr. Smith was Chelsea's volleyball and basketball coach. His wife was Chelsea's homeroom teacher as well as her Literature teacher. What an awesome couple they are truly awesome teachers. Chelsea is really going to miss them.

Chelsea and her 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Zoffka, she attends all of her former students graduations. She was an awesome teacher!!!!

Ariana the Brave!

Well, Ariana finally did it.....She pierced her ears. Her Tia Julie talked her into doing it. She was very brave and didn't even cry. She held Julie's hand and braved the dreaded ear gun. We have been trying to convince her to pierce her ears for 4 years now!

Chelsea's 8th Grade Promotion Dance

I had the opportunity to chaperone Chelsea's 8th grade promotion dance. The dance committee really went all out for these kids. They had a nice catered meal with chicken alfredo, garlic bread, salad and dessert. The 7th & 8th graders are invited to the dance, but the last hour is just for the 8th graders. They had a chocolate fountain with strawberries, bananas and marshallows. They also had picture books for the kids with the class picture and individual pictures that have been taken throughout the year. They also had an address book in the back for the kids to exchange their info. It was really nice and I enjoyed myself. It was funny to watch them get all emotional, but most of these kids have been together since Kindergarten.

Chelsea and her Best Friend Forever Jordi!

These kids were so fun to watch. They really had a good time!
